As most of our children come from disadvantaged backgrounds, we always welcome assistance in the form of donations of items such as:
• Clothing (especially socks, scarfs, beanies, gloves), winter school uniform and shoes
• Toiletries
• Toys, games, board games, sport equipment (soccer and netball boots/shoes, gear, including balls)
• DVD’s, video-games, magazines, books, basic medication especially during the cold and winter season

The RCV has several projects in need of items and equipment, such as:
• Paint, rhino lite and cement towards the building
• Children’s room, bathrooms & TV/study rooms to be renovated
• Vegetable garden, seeds and plants
• Lawn mower and weed eater (petrol type)
• Gym equipment for the children’s gym
• Curtains for bedrooms & TV rooms
• Jersey’s and jackets for winter for children
• Gas heaters for rooms during winter
• Shoes for church for children
• Development of the playing ground area, i.e. seesaw, slide, cargo net and swings
• We have a Astroturf soccer pitch and fence that needs regular service
• We have a netball court that also needs to be developed in a bigger one
Plans to have an entertainment centre for our children, like big flat screen TV & DSTV, comfortable big cushions/pillows, sofas. We also want to acknowledge and reward children for their academic progress, etc. and would like to reward them with movie tickets, sports game, etc. We have also started a read – a – book campaign where each child take out a book & read with assistance of staff, the idea is to start a library by instilling reading with our children, so we require books, reading tables & chairs, in order to make our area more comfortable . We also have a computer room with 6 PC’s & require more PC’s, our plan is to develop by making it bigger.
